Client Services Representative
We are searching for an experienced client services representative to join our rapidly growing team. Makara is laser focused on simplicity, ease of use. We act in our clients' best financial interest and treat clients like we'd like to be treated. We always try to remove the traditional financial and crypto jargon in order to communicate with our clients in a clear and transparent manner.
This role will be primarily focused on providing exceptional customer service through email, phone and chat communication to Makara clients (both institutional and individual). We are an early-stage startup and you will also have the opportunity to contribute to many other exciting projects including support infrastructure buildout, client onboarding, automating repetitive tasks and content creation.Apply Now!

We're looking for someone who…
Has at least 5 years of client facing experience in retail banking, wealth management, asset management and/or fintech. You will need exceptional communication skills; to be able to explain complicated financial concepts to clients with zero experience in crypto. An ideal candidate would also have experience with our support ticketing system Zendesk.
Has a genuine interest in the cryptocurrency space. You don't have to be a fervent true believer, but our mission statement should be exciting to you.
Is comfortable working in a distributed team—we are globally distributed. Able to partner with multiple stakeholders, including other teams and senior executives.
Comfortable with being independent and learning new concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment. Most important is a relentless passion for creating happy clients whatever the cost.
